We have been working hard developing what we think is a quite innovative page builder for Wordpress, there are already several page builder plugins, the most popular being Visual Composer, however we think we can provide a significant improvement at building entire page layouts with Wordpress. We have expertise in the technical part, however we lack any marketing/promotion knowledge, what are our best chances to gain awareness?
There is no right answer for this, but definitely, you need to have a 'hustle' aggressive approach when you're launching something new.
That means to dedicate some time to get in front of the right people. You can start by joining Facebook groups in your category, going to meetups (as a host and/or as a speaker), and create a Facebook group or a Slack channel for early adopters.
The important part is to be in front of as many eyeballs as possible and to build a community of users/supporters.
