How can I best do affiliate lead marketing?

I just signed up for an affiliate program with a company that gives me $1 per each sign-up to their free trial. I then registered a domain name and redirected it to the affiliate link. Now, after spending $30 for a facebook ad with a turnout of 2 sign-ups I realised I need help and quidance!


You're targeting a b2b product with a $1 payout on a trial full-form lead submit -- this is never, ever going to work, no matter how well you advertise it. The best advice I can give you in this scenario is to find a better offer to run.

I agree, that offer won't work because of the incredibly low payout, especially on a b2b offer.

If you had a better paying offer, you would need to track your ads and see which is converting best.

You need quite a bit of "extra" stuff to make your plan work. You're on the right path, but I think you're missing a few components. I would always try to capture the lead and then get them to the action/sale/download/etc -- This way you have a chance to warm them up and promote the offer a couple times.

Specifically the landing page you send them with that domain is a little confusing and seems overcrowded with stuff. I would always send them to my own landing page (easy to make). Collect the lead (easy to do), then send them to your offers. Overtime, keep a good relationship, you can market them other similar products.

In this specific case, your ad may have had the wrong call to action or a mismatch on your ad vs the landing page. can't tell without looking at your ad. And without a more in depth discussion.

I know there's a lot more to cover, but these could be some things to think about.

Almost anything sold online can be reviewed if there is an affiliate program – you can review physical products, digital software, or even services booked online, like ridesharing or travel resort booking. It is especially effective to compare this product to others in the same category. Test a variety of marketing strategies to see which one your audience responds to the most. No matter how good your marketing skills are, you will make less money on a bad product than you will on a valuable one. Take the time to study the demand for a product before promoting it. Your time is worth a lot, and you want to be sure you are spending it on a product that is profitable and a seller you can believe in. There is serious competition in the affiliate marketing sphere. Additionally, you will likely be able to benefit from at least a few of the new marketing techniques that are constantly being created.
